Blends — Château de Lacquy

Château de Lacquy's blends (3, 7, 12, 17, 21, and 30 years old) are crafted to ensure consistent taste and enduring quality over time, while expressing the unique qualities of the Lacquy terroir.

The age indicated refers to the youngest vintage used in the blend. While the 3-year-old is a 100% Baco, 4-count (meaning 4 years old) aged in new barrels, the other blends are composed of five different years and various grape varieties, selected for their specific qualities: aromas, length on the palate, and color. As a result, magnificent brandies are obtained through blending, as only the best qualities are combined.

These blends are slightly reduced with distilled water over two years of their elaboration (max 10% to go from 48° to 42°) and aged for at least two years in barrels before bottling.

La Carafe des Siècles (The Decanter of Centuries)

La Carafe des Siècles is a blend of very old armagnacs, presented in a decanter engraved with the family monogram. It commemorates 300 years since the property entered the family. This decanter is housed in a raw sessile oak box, the same wood used for the estate's barrels.

Château de Lacquy, due to its geographical location, the excellence of its cellar, and the care taken at each stage of production, brings together the ideal conditions for producing the best armagnacs. Its owners obsessively pursue quality and authenticity: armagnacs that are absolutely pure, complex, vibrant, and of great finesse and softness.

These armagnacs are regularly awarded and medaled in London, San Francisco, and Brussels. The estate received the "Best Brandy of the World" 2022 trophy in London (IWSC).

They can only be found among true connoisseurs, in major cellars, or in privileged establishments, both in France and abroad.
